Automated decision making

The decisions made by our trading system are completely automated. This has two major advantages.

First, automated decision making takes emotions out of investing. Emotions, particularly fear and greed, are well-known enemies of traders and investors. These emotions often trick investors into making bad decisions, thus making them lose money. One advantage of automated decision making is that it is not affected by emotions.

Another advantage is that automated decision making allows for testing the trading system on historical data. Such testing adds confidence to our conviction that the system will continue working in the future.
